Directions:

  1. Place the chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce over the drumsticks, making sure they’re evenly coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Once done, transfer the drumsticks to a serving platter.
  6. Optional: For a thicker, glossier sauce, pour the liquid from the slow cooker into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until it reduces to your desired consistency. Drizzle the thickened sauce over the chicken before serving.

Variations & Tips:

  • Spicy Kick: Add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a touch of heat.
  • Tangy Twist: Stir in 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar for a zesty, tangy flavor.
  • Swap the Cut: Use chicken thighs instead of drumsticks if preferred.
  • Gluten-Free Option: Substitute soy sauce with tamari.
  • Extra Flavor: Add a 1-inch piece of fresh ginger or a splash of sesame oil to the sauce for an extra layer of depth.

Serve these sticky, flavorful drumsticks with steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad for a complete and satisfying meal. Enjoy!
