### Trick #2: Apply a Bleach Neutralizer or Hydrogen Peroxide

1. **Dab the Bleach Stain with Water**: Before applying hydrogen peroxide, make sure to blot the bleach stain with clean water. This helps remove any residual bleach from the fabric and reduces the chance of it spreading further.
2. **Apply Hydrogen Peroxide**: Soak a clean cloth or sponge in hydrogen peroxide, and gently dab the bleach-stained area with it. Hydrogen peroxide is often referred to as a mild bleach itself, but it can help neutralize the original bleach stain by breaking down the excess bleach in the fabric.
3. **Let it Sit**: Let the hydrogen peroxide sit on the stain for about 10 to 15 minutes. Do not let it sit too long, as it may lighten the fabric more than desired.
4. **Rinse with Water**: After the peroxide has had time to work, rinse the stained area thoroughly with cold water. If the stain persists, repeat the process once more.
5. **Launder as Usual**: Once the stain has been neutralized, wash the garment as usual in cold water with a mild detergent. Let it air dry.
