## Ingredients for Citrus Salmon and Shrimp Delight

The **Citrus Salmon and Shrimp Delight** is a simple yet sophisticated dish that incorporates fresh, flavorful ingredients. Here’s a list of everything you’ll need:

### Ingredients:
– **2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)**
– **12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined**
– **1 tablespoon olive oil**
– **1 tablespoon butter**
– **1 orange (zested and juiced)**
– **1 lemon (zested and juiced)**
– **1 lime (zested and juiced)**
– **2 cloves garlic, minced**
– **1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves**
– **1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)**
– **1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)**
– **Salt and pepper to taste**
– **Optional: Red pepper flakes for a hint of spice**

### Instructions:

1. **Prepare the Citrus**:
– Zest and juice the **orange**, **lemon**, and **lime**. Set the zest and juice aside in separate bowls.

2. **Season the Salmon and Shrimp**:
– Pat the **salmon fillets** dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of **thyme**. Set the salmon aside.
– Season the **shrimp** with salt, pepper, and a pinch of **red pepper flakes** (optional, for a little heat).

3. **Cook the Salmon**:
– In a large skillet, heat **1 tablespoon of olive oil** over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet.
– Cook the salmon for about **4-5 minutes** per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a golden-brown crust. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

4. **Cook the Shrimp**:
– In the same skillet, add **1 tablespoon of butter** and let it melt. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for **2-3 minutes** on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.

5. **Prepare the Citrus Sauce**:
– In the same skillet, add the **minced garlic** and sauté for about **30 seconds**, or until fragrant.
– Add the **orange juice**, **lemon juice**, and **lime juice** to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let the sauce reduce for about **2-3 minutes** until it thickens slightly.
– Stir in the **citrus zest** and cook for an additional minute. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with more salt, pepper, or citrus juice as needed.

6. **Combine the Salmon, Shrimp, and Sauce**:
– Return the cooked salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the citrus sauce over the top. Let everything simmer together for an additional **1-2 minutes** to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.

7. **Garnish and Serve**:
– Remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish the dish with **fresh parsley** and **basil** for a burst of color and flavor. Serve immediately.
