Crispy Chicken with Creamy Sauce

### **Instructions**:

#### **Step 1: Prepare the Chicken**
1. Start by preparing your chicken breasts. If they are too thick, slice them horizontally to create thinner cutlets. This ensures they cook more evenly and faster.
2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Set them aside while you prepare the breading.

#### **Step 2: Bread the Chicken**
1. Set up a breading station. In one shallow bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
2. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, making sure it’s coated evenly. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure a good coating.
3. Set the breaded chicken breasts aside.

#### **Step 3: Fry the Chicken**
1. Heat about 1/4 cup of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot (but not smoking), add the chicken breasts to the pan. Don’t overcrowd the pan; if necessary, cook the chicken in batches.
2. Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. The chicken should be cooked through, with an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
3. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

#### **Step 4: Make the Creamy Sauce**
1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Allow it to melt.
2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce slightly.
4. Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Add the Parmesan cheese, and continue stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
6. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more chicken broth or cream to achieve your desired consistency.

#### **Step 5: Serve**
1. Place the crispy chicken breasts on serving plates.
2. Pour the creamy sauce generously over the chicken.
3. Garnish with fresh herbs such as parsley or thyme.
4. Serve hot and enjoy!
