Remove any loose debris or crumbs from the oven. Then, apply the baking soda paste to the interior of the oven, focusing on the areas with baked-on grease or stains. Use your fingers or a cloth to spread the paste over the oven walls, floor, and ceiling.
3. **Let It Sit:**
Allow the baking soda paste to sit for at least 10–15 minutes. For tougher stains, you can leave it on for up to an hour. The paste will help break down grease and grime, making it easier to wipe away.
4. **Spray with Vinegar:**
After letting the baking soda paste sit, fill a spray bottle with white vinegar. Spray the vinegar over the baking soda paste. You’ll notice a fizzing reaction as the two ingredients interact, which is a sign that they’re working to lift dirt and grease.
5. **Wipe Clean:**
Use a damp sponge or cloth to wipe away the baking soda and vinegar mixture. As you wipe, you’ll find that most of the grease and grime will come off easily. For stubborn spots, use a bit of elbow grease to scrub them away.
6. **Final Rinse:**
After you’ve removed all the residue, wipe down the oven with a clean damp cloth to remove any remaining vinegar and baking soda residue. Your oven should now be sparkling clean.
