Love is… when my hubby begs me to make this recipe over and over again

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken: Lightly season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear chicken on both sides until golden (about 2–3 minutes per side). Remove from heat and place in a baking dish.
  3. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat and add garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, then stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer gently until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Assemble: Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken in the baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella over the top.
  5. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.

What to Serve with It

This dish pairs perfectly with:

  • Creamy mashed potatoes (to soak up that sauce!)
  • Garlic butter pasta
  • Steamed green beans or asparagus
  • Crusty bread to mop the plate clean

A Little Love in Every Bite

It’s easy to see why my husband begs me to make this recipe again and again. It’s everything comfort food should be — cozy, creamy, full of flavor, and made with love. Every time I serve it, it’s met with the same reaction: a happy sigh, an empty plate, and a hopeful, “You’ll make this again soon, right?”

And isn’t that what love really is? A little extra time in the kitchen to make someone smile, one bite at a time.
