Looking for a simple yet indulgent treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth? Look no further than these Salted Caramel Bites! Combining the rich sweetness of caramel with a hint of salt for balance, these bite-sized goodies are the perfect mix of decadent and delicious. Whether you’re hosting a gathering or just in need of a quick dessert fix, these salted caramel bites will never disappoint.
Here’s how to make this easy and irresistible treat at home.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (cubed)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt (or more, to taste)
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- A pinch of sea salt for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Caramel Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, add the granulated sugar and heat it over medium heat. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon or heat-resistant spatula to help the sugar melt evenly. Keep stirring until the sugar has fully dissolved and turned into a golden-brown liquid. Be cautious not to burn the sugar.

3. Coat with Chocolate:
Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler. If microwaving, heat in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is completely smooth.
Dip each caramel bite into the melted chocolate, using a fork or your fingers to coat it evenly. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing the coated bite back onto the baking sheet.
4. Add the Final Touch:
Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each caramel bite for that perfect sweet and salty balance. You can also refrigerate the bites to help th
